Since 1992, most of our instructors have been former PDTO dancers or parent members. They have continued to carry on the tradition of exposing the next generation to Filipino culture through folk dance and music.

Current Instructors:

Lead Choreographer: Vanessa Gomez (2012 – Present)

Vanessa joined PDTO at its formation in 1984 and is one of the original dancers. She became a Rehearsal Master in 1999 and an Assistant Choreographer in 2004. She has been the Lead choreographer since 2012.

Assistant Choreographer: Carmelle Cachero (2022 – Present)

Carmelle joined PDTO as a dancer in 1989. She rejoined PDTO as an Assistant Choreographer in September 2022, along with her two youngest children.
