Our Story
Every great journey begins with a story. Ours is no different. Danny Arriola formed the Philippine Dance Troupe of Ottawa (PDTO) on January 7, 1984 to engage the children and youth in the community and to pass on to the children of Filipino-Canadians a part of their Filipino heritage. Today, PDTO is the foremost Filipino folk dance troupe in the National Capital Region. What started as a humble beginning has since grown into a vital part of the Filipino-Canadian cultural scene in Ottawa.
